So I have some very exciting news...Wesley and I are engaged!!!  It happened Saturday night when I least expected so I was very surprised.  If you want to know how he proposed you'll have to ask me about it but it was very very sweet and it was on the beach...one of my favorite places ever.  I love him so much and I am so excited about spending the rest of my life with him...I couldn't imagine life without him.  God has blessed me so much with Wesley and I know that he rejoices with us in this.  Sorry for those of you who have to find out this way...we are in Hilton Head on vacation and I don't have very many phone numbers with me to call everyone but I'm sure I'll call once we get home on Friday.  I love you all and I'll leave you with some pictures here...

Guess what!?!?!??  Wesley came and surprised me on Thursday night.  I was at church and got out at about 9 and Jordan said he would bring me home because my roomate was going out with some people so I was like uh okay.  So he took me back to the apartment and then kinda hung around and Wesley called me and sounded asleep so I figured he was just wondering why I hadn't called him yet after church.  He asked me what I was doing so I was like uhhh I'm in the apartment with Jordan and he goes well could you come and open the door because me and Pedro are cold.  So I ran to the door and freaked out.  He had picked up the kitty on his way up to Athens from my roomates house in Macon where it had been lost and then found.  How sweet is that??  We had lots of fun being with each other, watching movies, going out with some friends to Carabbas, going to Golden Dragon for some amazing chinese food, shopping for Christmas gifts, seeing Chronicles of Narnia...  It was a wonderful weekend and I am very excited about next weekend when we get to go to the beach with my family!  I have two exams this week and then I'm done...one on Tuesday and one on Thursday and they shouldn't be too bad.  Well, I guess I shouldn't procrastinate anymore so back to studying it is.

It's finally cold in Athens.  It's only 36 degrees right now and it's all cloudy and kinda rainy...I love days like this.  Wearing comfy clothes, having candles lit, drinking hot chocolate.  Days like this also make me miss Wesley though because I would love to curl up on the couch and watch movies and drink hot chocolate together.  One day I'll get to have many days like this with him so I know this time apart is short in comparison to the time we will have together.  I also know that this time is from the Lord and He is using it to strengthen us and grow us and so I'm very thankful for that.  I'm thankful that God chooses to teach us in the hard times and that He is always faithful and will bring us through them.  Well let me leave you with this wonderful picture of me...I'm missing Wesley in case you can't tell

Our kitty, Pedro, has been found.  Stef took him home for Thanksgiving break and well let's just say he ran away because Stef thought he would just stand in the grass outside even though he's an indoor cat (it's okay Stef I still love you ).  So anyways he has been found and we are all very excited about that...he's the best kitty you could ask for.

My cousin Shannon's wedding was this past weekend and it was BEAUTIFUL!!  I know that Shannon and Jeff are going to be so happy together.  It was great seeing my family again and being with everyone.  It was also lots of fun being a bridesmaid.  It was so cold in Ohio and we got to see a little snow, which I loved.  I also got to eat at Bob Evans which brought back childhood memories and got to do some great shopping.  It was really hard going to and being in a wedding without Wesley there but I just had to keep saying to myself that one day the Lord will allow us to be together and I won't have to leave him again.  I miss him sooooo much and I can't wait to see him this weekend!!  Sorry this is so long but one more thing...Wesley is going to seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in January and so pray for that as he's looking for a job and figuring out housing and all that fun stuff.  Love ya'll!!
Here's a couple pics from the rehearsal dinner and wedding:

So I thought it was finally getting cold in Georgia, but no...it's back up in the 70s and supposed to be in the 80s this weekend.  I'm very ready for cold weather because I love pulling out sweaters and coats and being able to drink coffee and not get really hot when you drink it because its so hot outside.  Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait a few more weeks for that.  I finally got my bridesmaid dress back for Shannon's wedding and I'm so excited for it.  I was hoping that Wesley would be able to come but he's not going to be able to because people at his work are stupid and told him he couldn't have two busy times off during the year (the Fri. before the wedding and the week after Christmas) even though he has taken no vacation the entire year.  So they told him he had to choose one or the other...I know it's pretty dumb but oh well there's nothing more we can do about it.  I just have to trust that all this being away from Wesley exactly what the Lord wants and I do trust Him although that doesn't make the situation any easier.  I know that the Lord is stretching and growing us both through it and so I can't complain.  I also know that in not too long the Lord will bring us together and we won't have to deal with this whole distance thing, we'll get to spend every day together .  Oh and I'm 20 now...no longer a teenager.  Wesley says he'll start listening to me now, lol.
